Fell Foot Lodge - Burnside Park

Fell Foot Lodge is on Burnside Park, just outside Keswick town centre. It's a lodge on a holiday park. The view from the deck is good, over towards Latrigg and Skiddaw. It's quiet, you get deer and squirrels in the trees.

Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and one with twins. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. Everything works.

The living area is open plan. There's a wood burner for colder evenings. The patio doors open straight onto your own decking. It's east-facing, so you get the morning sun.

Keswick town centre is about a ten minute walk. There's a Co-op about five minutes away for basics. Plenty of pubs and places to eat. The park is set back from the main road, so it's peaceful even though you're close to everything.

For walking, you're right on the edge of it. You can pick up footpaths onto Latrigg from almost outside the gate. Derwentwater is about a mile down the road. The bus to Borrowdale stops at the park entrance if you don't want to drive.

Within half an hour's drive you've got Castlerigg Stone Circle, Whinlatter Forest, and the Honister Slate Mine. Further afield, but still under an hour, is Ullswater.

Facilities wise: there's parking right by the lodge, wi-fi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
