Forge Cottage
Forge Cottage is in Keswick. It's down by the river, about a fifteen minute walk into the town centre. You get a view of the River Greta from the front.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One has a king size bed and its own bathroom. The other has twin beds you can push together. There's another family bathroom with a shower too.
The living room and kitchen are upstairs. It's an open plan space. There's a wood burner, which is good for cooler evenings. The stairs down to the bedrooms are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but you need to be a bit careful with them.
You can walk from the door. Latrigg is right there, and Blencathra isn't far. Derwentwater and the theatre are a short walk through Hope Park. The park has putting and crazy golf. You can get the launch boats from there.
Keswick has all the shops you'd need for a holiday, and plenty of places to eat. The town is good for walking gear if you've forgotten anything.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and maintained. There's parking, a garden area, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
