Alvamere is a stone cottage in Keswick. It's terraced, on a quiet street about three minutes' walk from the market square.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and has everything you need, but it's not a show home. It's a cottage.

The garden is enclosed. It's got a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.

You can walk into town in a few minutes. There's a local pub nearby. Being in Keswick means you can leave the car. You can walk to the theatre by the lake, or to the shops, or just straight out onto the fells.

For a day out, Derwentwater is right there for boats or a walk around. Castlerigg Stone Circle is a short drive away. You can drive to Ullswater in about 25 minutes, or to Buttermere in about 20.
