York House

York House is in Keswick. It's a town house, about five minutes level walk to the town centre. That's the main thing. It was completely refurbished a few years ago, so it's in very good order.

It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and comfortable.

You're right by Fitz Park and the River Greta. The leisure centre is close if the weather turns. The Convention Centre is a couple of hundred yards away for events.

The house has a patio garden that's enclosed. There's space for bikes. Inside, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, that sort of thing. WiFi and TV are included. Bedding is provided. We can supply a cot and highchair.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's a local pub a short walk away.

You really don't need the car much from here. But if you do drive, you're in the middle of everything. Derwentwater is about a ten-minute walk. The Lake District National Park site has all the walking and route information. For historic houses, National Trust Lake District is useful.
