Field House Lodge
Field House Lodge is in Grange, Cumbria. It's a single-storey cedar lodge, so it's all on one level. It's just for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The shower is a walk-in type. There's one bedroom and one bathroom.
The main room is open plan. There's a kitchen area with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The sofa faces a TV and an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. The windows look out over fields towards the fells.
You have your own enclosed patio area with a barbecue. There's parking right by the lodge.
It's a quiet spot. The village of Grange is small. There's a hotel with a bar and restaurant about a quarter of a mile away. For a main shop, you'd drive to Keswick, which is about four miles.
Derwentwater is very close. You can walk down to the lake. For a good walk, you can go around the lake itself or get a boat from Keswick to climb Catbells. The whole Borrowdale valley is right there for exploring.
Keswick has all the outdoor shops, cafes, and a cinema. It's a proper market town.
The lodge is in the Lake District National Park. For planning walks and visits, the Lake District National Park Authority site is useful, and so is the National Trust Lake District page.
No pets, sorry. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is available.
