Lobstone Cottage is in Rosthwaite. It's a proper old stone cottage in Borrowdale, the valley between the fells.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxury. The stairs inside are a bit narrow, like most cottages here.
You get the little garden and patio to yourselves. There's parking right outside the door.
The cottage is right in the village. There's a pub a minute's walk away. It's very much a walking place. You step outside and you're on the paths. It's famously on Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk, it's even in his book.
If you want lakes, Derwentwater is a short drive. Keswick is about twenty minutes by car for bigger shops.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
