The Coach House
The Coach House is in Legburthwaite, which is near Thirlmere reservoir. It's an apartment, one of five in an old coach house. The main hotel building is just there, but you're separate. You're right at the bottom of Helvellyn.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and everything should work. The ceiling is vaulted, so the space feels big.
You look out over a cobbled yard. There's a shared garden you can use, which has good views down to the lake. The setting is quiet.
For walking, you can just step out the door. There's a path along Thirlmere. If you want to climb Helvellyn, the start of Striding Edge is basically up the track behind you.
The nearest pub is about a mile away in Thirlspot. Keswick is five miles. That's where the shops, cafes, and the theatre are. Grasmere is about fifteen minutes by car the other way.
Facilities: there's parking, wifi, a TV, and an en-suite shower. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
