Hovera
This is Hovera. It's a modern terraced house in Glenridding village, right on Ullswater. Hovera is Cumbrian sheep counting for eight.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. You can park on site. It's got a 4 Star rating.
Downstairs is an open kitchen and dining area. There's a sun room and a separate living room with a wood burner. The views from there look straight out at St Sunday Crag and Fairfield. You'll probably spend a lot of time in that room.
Upstairs there's a large twin bedroom. We can make that into a super king-size bed if you ask beforehand. The bathroom is on that floor too, with a bath and a separate shower. Then there's another staircase up to the second-floor bedroom, which has a king-size bed.
You get a small patio garden out the back.
The place has things like a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring one dog.
Outside the front door, you're on a walking path straight away. If you want to climb Helvellyn, you're already at the start of one of the main routes. The local shop and a restaurant are about five minutes walk. The pub is even closer, maybe two minutes.
Keswick, Windermere, and Ambleside are all within half an hour's drive for more shops and places to eat.
