Tan Watermillock
Tan Watermillock is in a place called Knotts. It's near Ullswater. You can see the lake from the front. It's quiet.
It's a detached house, sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well done up and everything works properly. Good quality stuff.
The kitchen is good if you like cooking. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure. You get a wood burner for the evenings.
For a pub, the Brackenrigg Inn is about a mile and a half away. They do food. The MacDonald Leeming Hotel restaurant is just up the road if you want something a bit smarter.
Pooley Bridge is three miles. That's where the main shops and tea rooms are. You can get a boat trip on the lake from there on the Ullswater Steamers.
Aira Force waterfall is nearby. Good for a short walk. For longer walks, you're right at the foot of the fells. You can just step out the door.
Facilities: WiFi, parking, bedding included. No pets I'm afraid.
