Spring Grove
Spring Grove is in Watermillock. It's a cottage sat on its own drive, surrounded by a lot of woodland, maybe 50 acres. It's private.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The location is the main thing. You can walk straight out of the door onto paths. You can leave the car behind. Ullswater's shore is very close, just across the road from the cottage. There's a private bit of lake frontage there for guests, if you wanted to fish or put a canoe in.
The garden is a good space. You often see wildlife, like deer and buzzards.
Pooley Bridge is about a mile and a half away for a pub or a cafe. There's also a restaurant you can walk to from here. Penrith is seven miles for bigger shops.
For things to do, you've got the steamers on Ullswater. You can hire boats. There's sailing, golf, and pony trekking nearby if you want it.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
