Load Pot
Load Pot is in Wreay, which is on the quieter side of Ullswater. It's an apartment, part of a small development called Wreay Mansions. You get the first and second floor. The view from the main room is the main thing. You look straight out over the lake and the fells.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan, done in a modern way. It works well for couples or a small family.
There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is in Pooley Bridge, about two miles. Pooley Bridge has a few shops and cafes and a good bakery.
Walks start right from the door. You can do a lakeside stroll or go up something bigger. The National Trust at Ullswater has maps for a lot of the local paths. For a bigger day out, Blencathra and Helvellyn are within a half hour drive.
Facilities: there's parking on site, a washing machine, WiFi, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
