Load Pot
Load Pot is an apartment in Wreay, near Ullswater. It's part of a small development called Wreay Mansions. You're up the hill, so the view over the lake and the fells is very good.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan and done in a modern way. It suits couples or a small family.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
There's a pub and restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is two miles, in Pooley Bridge.
For walking, you've got everything from a gentle lakeside stroll to the big fells. Blencathra and Helvellyn are serious walks, but there are plenty of easier options right from the door. The Lake District National Park site has all the route information.
Pooley Bridge is about two miles down the hill, on the edge of Ullswater. You can get lake cruises from there. Penrith is a 15-minute drive for supermarkets and the train station. Keswick is about half an hour by car.
