The Laburnums
The Laburnums is in Askham, a village near Ullswater. It's a semi-detached house. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up to a high standard.
It sleeps six. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so it's good if you want a bit more space or your own bathroom. The garden is private, enclosed, and gets the sun.
The village has a shop and two pubs, all about a hundred yards away. There's also an outdoor pool in the village that’s open in summer. It's a nice, quiet spot.
You can walk to Ullswater over the fells if you're up for it, but it's three miles. Most people drive. From Pooley Bridge or Glenridding you can get the Ullswater Steamers. Lowther Castle and the Birds of Prey Centre are a short drive away.
For walking, you've got the Helton Fells right there, or you can drive into the main Lake District. The Eden Valley is quieter.
What you've got here: parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, a wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
