Inglewood Terrace
Inglewood Terrace is in Penrith. It's a ground floor apartment, but it goes over three floors, which is a bit unusual.
You come in on the ground floor where the living room is. From there, you go up some stairs to the main bedroom and its bathroom. Or you go down some stairs to the kitchen, dining area, and the second bedroom. The stairs are a typical returning cottage staircase, so mind your head.
It sleeps four, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. We allow one well-behaved dog.
The place is handy for Penrith town. There's a pub about three-quarters of a mile away. You can walk right out the door and up to the Penrith Beacon if you want.
You're in a good spot for getting about. Ullswater is about a ten minute drive. Keswick is maybe twenty minutes. The Eden Valley is right there too, which is quieter than the central lakes. For a good day out, the Settle to Carlisle railway runs through it.
For facilities, it has what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a local golf course.
