Delmonte
Delmonte is in Langwathby, in the Eden Valley. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on the ground floor. You get good views from here, over the village and across to the Lake District fells.
It sleeps seven. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. The rooms are a decent size. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The local pub is about a five minute walk. They do good food. The train station is just as close. It's on the Carlisle to Settle line, which is a nice route if you fancy a trip without driving.
You're in a good spot for getting about. Penrith is about seven miles for supermarkets and things. Ullswater is under half an hour's drive. The Yorkshire Dales are about the same distance the other way. Hadrian's Wall is roughly twenty miles.
There's plenty of walking straight from the door. The river Eden is nearby if you like fishing.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for a couple of cars. The garden is yours to use. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
