Holly House
Holly House is on the main street in Pooley Bridge. It's a big village house. Sleeps ten, five bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. That's the main thing. It's been done up recently, so everything's in good order. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The garden is out the back. It's a decent size, quiet, and looks over the fields. You get a bit of peace there even though you're right in the village.
You're about a two minute walk from Ullswater. The steamer leaves from there. They run all year. You can get the boat down to Glenridding.
For walking, you're on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Ambleside is about a twenty minute drive over Kirkstone Pass, if you fancy a change. Windermere is a bit further. Penrith's about ten minutes away by car if you need a bigger supermarket.
In the house you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking for a couple of cars. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
The pub is practically next door. There's a shop just along the street.
