Lake View Farm
Lake View Farm is a converted barn on its own just outside Watermillock. It's for two people. One bedroom, one ensuite shower room. It's clean and comfortable and has a 5 Star rating which means it's very well looked after.
You can walk from the front door down to Ullswater in a few minutes. There's a small garden out the front with shrubs, and a cobbled courtyard at the back. The views are of the fields and the lake. Sometimes you get sheep in the field next door.
The living space is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, sofa. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine and an extra toilet.
It's about half a mile to the nearest pub. There's a shop and a restaurant about two miles away in Pooley Bridge.
The Ullswater Steamer jetty is two miles up the road. You can get a boat from there to Glenridding or Howtown. A lot of the good walks start from the jettys. Ullswater Steamers have the timetable.
For driving out, Keswick is about twenty minutes. Windermere is maybe forty five minutes depending on traffic. Lake District National Park has walking route maps and information.
Facilities: there's parking right outside, a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. A cot and highchair can be provided. We accept one dog.
