Woodhouse Lodge
Woodhouse Lodge is on a working farm, about half a mile from Lake Ullswater. It's detached. We finished renovating it in 2022.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You access it through a small, private holiday park, which we also own. It's quiet here. The lodge is next to that park, but it's only open seasonally and we don't let it out separately, so it's peaceful.
There's a footpath from the property that follows the River Eamont. It takes you straight into Pooley Bridge and the lake shore. That's about a quarter of a mile walk. Pooley Bridge has shops, pubs, cafes, and you can get the Ullswater steamers from there.
For the fells, the High Street range starts about a mile away. Helvellyn is eight miles. Penrith is six miles for supermarkets and things like that. Keswick is about sixteen miles.
The garden is enclosed. There's parking. It has a woodburning stove, wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
