Lilac Barn
Lilac Barn is in Newton Reigny. It's a quiet village about three miles from Penrith, just off the M6 junction, so it's easy to get to.
The barn sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main living area is open plan with a high beamed ceiling, so it feels quite spacious. The kitchen has what you need. The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own shower room. The second bedroom is a double. The main bathroom is on the ground floor and has a roll-top bath.
There's a garden just for guests, with seating. There are ponds, so if you've got children with you, they'll need watching around those.
The village has a pub. It does bar meals and a fancier dining menu. From here, you can get to Ullswater, the northern lakes, and the Eden Valley easily. Penrith has the shops and a train station.
For days out, National Trust Lake District has good information on walks and places like Aira Force. The Lake District National Park site is useful too.
What's here: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. We can provide a cot and a highchair. Bedding is included. No pets.
