Moor House
It's Moor House in Yanwath. You're down a quiet lane, and it's detached so you won't have any neighbours right on top of you. The garden is a good size, fenced all around, so it's secure. The view from the back is all fields and fells. It's very quiet.
It's a big house. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It sleeps nine so it works for two families. It's got a 3 Star rating, so like a comfortable family home rather than a hotel. It's clean and everything works.
The kitchen is big. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has a wood burner. We leave some logs to get you started. There's parking for a few cars on the drive.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. They do food. The nearest shop is in Penrith, which is about two miles away. You'll need a car.
You're in a good spot here. Ullswater is a fifteen minute drive. You can get a steamer from Glenridding or walk up Place Fell. Haweswater is about twenty minutes the other way. Penrith is close for supermarkets and the train station. You can be in Keswick or Ambleside in under forty minutes.
It's good for walking straight from the door. You can head up towards the Lowther Estate or just wander the lanes. If you like golf, there's a course at Penrith.

We accept up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
