The Woodland
The Woodland is a new lodge in Great Strickland, Eden Valley. It's detached. You can see lots of fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, all kingsize. One bedroom can be split into twins if you prefer. There are two bathrooms. One is quite big and attached to the main bedroom.
The living space is all open plan, with a kitchen, dining, and living area. There's a wood burner for colder nights, and big doors that open out onto a patio. The patio is private with outdoor furniture.
The main thing here is space. It's a very big lodge, not cramped at all.
You're right on the edge of the Lake District. It's about two miles to the National Park boundary. Ullswater is a six mile drive.
There's a pub in the village, about a hundred yards away. They serve food. For supermarkets, most people go to Penrith which is five miles away.
If you want to walk or cycle, you can go into the Lakes one way or into the Pennines the other. Getting here is simple from the M6.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed.
