Cherry Tree Lodge is in Glen Dowlin, near Pooley Bridge. It’s one of the lodges in a quiet park. It's detached. You get an outdoor seating area on the balcony.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles. Two bathrooms, one's an en-suite. It has a 4 Star rating. It was all updated a few years ago and it's kept clean. Everything's on one level.
The living area is open plan and the patio doors open right onto the balcony. It's light inside. There's a woodburner for cooler evenings.
It’s in the northern part of the Lake District National Park. A pub and restaurant are about a mile away. The local shop is three miles, so you tend to drive for groceries.
Pooley Bridge is just down the road. You can get the Ullswater steamer from there to Glenridding and back. Plenty of walking starts from the village. Good cycling routes around here too.
You're well placed for Ullswater. Aira Force waterfall is nearby. For a bigger day out, Keswick and Penrith are both about a twenty minute drive.
The lodge has parking right outside. Wifi, TV, all bedding and towels are included. It says pets allowed, but please check with me first about the specifics.
