Sharrow View is in Wreay, near Ullswater. It's part of an old hunting lodge, so you get a decent chunk of a bigger building. It's detached, so you've got your own space.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and one with bunks, and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is all on one floor, which is handy. The main room is big and has a good view over towards Barton Fell. There's an electric wood burner that looks nice and puts out heat.
Outside, there's a garden area with seating that you share with the other cottage. The view looks down towards Ullswater. It's a good spot.
There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is about seven miles, in Pooley Bridge. That's where you can get the steamer boats on the lake too.
For walking, you're well placed. You can see High Street from the window. Helvellyn and Striding Edge aren't far by car. The whole valley is good for it.
Facilities: it's got parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
