Foxhole

This is Foxhole. It's an end of terrace cottage in Threlkeld, on the edge of the Northern Fells. It's one of the oldest in the village.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable but not modern.

There are oak beams and low ceilings in places. The floors are a bit uneven. The stairs are cottage stairs. There's a wood burner in the living room.

The garden has a parking space for one car. It looks out onto the fells.

You can walk straight out the door onto Blencathra or the Skiddaw range. The Salutation Inn and the Horse and Farrier are both a few minutes' walk away. They serve food.

Keswick is three miles away. You can walk there along the old railway line, which is flat and easy. There's a regular bus through the village too.

We've left some toys, games, books, and maps for people to use. There's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and bedding is included. You can bring one dog.
