The Hoggest And Annexe
The Hoggest and Annexe is in Threlkeld, at the bottom of Blencathra. It used to be a stone farm building. The views are good all around, especially down St John's in the Vale.
It sleeps twelve across the main house and the separate annexe. Six bedrooms and five bathrooms between them. It's a 5 Star place, so it's done to a high standard. The annexe is good if part of the group wants a bit of privacy.
The main house is open plan with bifold doors that open onto the view. There's a wood burner and a large dining table. It's a comfortable space for everyone to be together. Each bedroom has comfortable beds.
Outside, there's a patio garden and a hot tub. There's parking on site. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
Threlkeld village has a couple of pubs that do food, and a golf course. Keswick is a ten minute drive for more shops and things. You can walk straight onto the fells from the door.
For facilities, you've got WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
