Cat Bells is an apartment in Keswick, on the first floor. It's one of three in the building. Sleeps two, one bedroom.
It's a straightforward place. Clean and comfortable, but not posh. It gets a 3 Star rating, which I think sums that up.
The parking space is directly across the road. Once you're parked, you really don't need the car again. Everything is close. The main street with shops, pubs, and places to eat is about 50 yards away. George Fisher, the outdoor shop, is right opposite.
It's about a ten-minute walk down through Hope Park to get to Derwentwater. From there you can get the launches around the lake. You can walk straight out onto the fells from the door.
Just to note, you get to the apartment front door by going up a few steps from the street.
It's got a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included and there's a cot available if you need one. No pets.
For things to do, Derwentwater and the fells are right there. You're in the north of the Lake District National Park, so walks are everywhere. You can drive to Borrowdale or Ullswater in under half an hour.
