This is 1 Lonsdale House, in Keswick. It's a ground-floor apartment in a quiet block called Greta Grove, on the edge of town.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star. It’s comfortable and well-kept, a nice space to come back to. The living room has a fireplace, but it’s ornamental, you can’t light it.
The main thing is the position. You’re about a ten-minute walk from the market square, so you can get to the shops and pubs easily. But you’re right next to fields. You can look out at the fells, and there are footpaths starting almost from the door.
Keswick itself has everything you need. There’s a good leisure centre with a pool. You’re close to Derwentwater for boat hire, and Fitz Park is lovely for a stroll.
You can drive to many places easily. Borrowdale is about ten minutes south. Castlerigg Stone Circle is five minutes away. For a bigger day out, Ullswater, Buttermere, or Grasmere are all within half an hour.
In terms of what's here: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside. No pets, sorry.
