Riverholme is in the village of Bassenthwaite, just outside Keswick. It's a terraced cottage. You've got a little garden out the back that catches the afternoon sun. There's a stream runs right behind it, which you can hear from the garden.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed with its own shower room. The other has twin beds. There's a family bathroom too, with a bath and a separate shower. We had the place refurbished a few years ago, so everything's in good order. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The kitchen is open plan with the dining table. It's well kitted out, with a dishwasher and washing machine. The living room has a wood burner. We provide the wood.
The village pub is about five minutes' walk. They do food. Keswick is about seven miles away for most shops and supermarkets. Derwent Water is there too. Cockermouth is eight miles the other way.
For walks, you're right on the doorstep of the fells. Skiddaw, Catbells, Blencathra are all close by. The Lake District Wildlife Park is two miles away if you have children. The Lakes Distillery is nearby for a tour.
Included in the price are all utilities, WiFi, bedding and towels. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking on the street outside. No pets, sorry.
