Laundry Cottage
Laundry Cottage is in High Ireby, which is up in the Northern Fells part of the Lake District. It's on a private estate, so you've got your own garden and a car park. It feels quite tucked away.
The house sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable. It's been modernised but keeps some old features, like a fireplace in the sitting room. The views from the front are really good, straight over to Udale Fell.
The garden merges into the estate grounds, so there's no hard fence. You can walk around the estate, which includes Binsey Fell. You can start a walk right from the door. We see deer and red squirrels around here sometimes.
Keswick is about a 15 minute drive. Cockermouth is maybe 20 minutes the other way. Both are good for shops and places to eat.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Pets are welcome, up to two.
