Greenrigg Cottage
Greenrigg Cottage is out on the Caldbeck Fells. It used to be a farmhouse. My house is next door, but you'll have your own space and the garden. The main thing is the view. You get a proper panorama from up here, fields and fells all around.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has what you need. It's furnished traditionally, nothing too modern. The heating is electric.
You can walk straight from the door onto the fells. The roads are quiet too, good for cycling if you bring bikes. Caldbeck village is about three miles down the road. There's a pub, a cafe, and a small shop there. For a bigger shop or more pubs, Keswick is 15 miles away.
Facilities: there's a woodburning stove, which is nice in the evening. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. We allow up to two dogs. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you're bringing little ones.
