Merlin's Cabin
Merlin's Cabin is a glamping pod in Brocklebank, Cumbria. It's in the middle of a big 23 acre field. You get a good view over the Solway Firth and across to Scotland from the front.
It sleeps four. There's a double bed and a set of bunks, all in one open plan room. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The kitchen is small but it has what you need. Outside, there's an enclosed patio area with a hot tub and a barbecue.
You're quite remote here. The nearest proper village is Caldbeck, about three and a half miles away. They've got a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. For a beach, you're looking at the Solway Coast, which is about 16 miles.
The site itself is good for just being outside. If you want to walk, the Caldbeck Fells are close by, about four miles. The National Trust and the Lake District National Park sites are useful for planning trips. Keswick is about a 25 minute drive.
Facilities: there's parking right by the pod, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
