Hedgehog Meadows

Hedgehog Meadows is a wooden chalet in Waverton. It's on our land but it's detached, so it's just you. The property itself is all on one floor, which is useful.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That just means it's clean and has what you need, not that it's luxury. There's a patio and a garden that looks out over our paddock. You can see the fells from there.

The location is good if you want to see a few different things. You're right between the Solway Coast and the north western bit of the Lake District. Both are about a 20 minute drive. Cockermouth, Keswick and Carlisle are each roughly 25 minutes away by car.

There's a shop about 100 yards down the road for basics. The nearest pub that does food is a mile and a half away.

For things to do, you've got the whole of the Lake District National Park on your doorstep. The Solway Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If you fancied a day out, Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish border are under an hour's drive.

What's here: the towels and bedding are included. There's a washing machine, a TV, and parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a highchair if you need one. There's also a barbecue and a bike store.
