The Treehouse Cabin is in Brocklebank, near Caldbeck. It's not in the central Lakes, it's on the northern edge of the National Park. That means it's a lot quieter.
It's called a treehouse because it's built up on stilts amongst the trees. There's a wooden deck that goes out over a stream. You get your own hot tub on the deck.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The main thing is the setting. You're looking out into the trees and over fields towards the sea. You can see Scotland on a clear day. There are 23 acres of land here to walk around.
Inside, it's got a wood burning stove, a TV, and WiFi. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right there. There's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
You can bring dogs. Up to three.
The local village is Caldbeck, about ten minutes by car. There's a pub, a shop, and a tea room there. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Carlisle. The Cumbrian coast is about seventeen miles away. It's a different scene to the lakes, lots of sandy beaches.
If you're walking, you're right by the northern fells. They're quieter. Hesket Newmarket and Uldale are close. For history, Hadrian's Wall is within easy reach. For general planning, the Lake District National Park site is useful.
