Willow

It's called Willow, on Wallace Lane Farm up near Brocklebank in Cumbria. It's a detached two-bed holiday home on a quiet park.

Sleeps four, two bedrooms. One double with an ensuite loo, and one twin. There's a separate shower room too. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. Everything's open plan downstairs: kitchen, dining, living area. It has what you'd expect.

Outside, there's a deck with seating and a private hot tub. The garden is enclosed. You can park on site, there's an EV charger, and bike storage. WiFi is included, and we've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Pets are welcome.

The park itself is small and peaceful, about 23 acres you can walk around. You get views out to the sea and the Scottish hills.

It's north of the main Lake District National Park, so it's a good base for the quieter northern fells and the west coast. The village of Caldbeck is close by, with a pub and tea rooms. There's a shop on the farm.

You're about 35 minutes' drive from Keswick. Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall aren't far if you fancy a bit of history. For planning walks, the Lake District National Park Authority site is useful, and National Trust Lake District for their properties.
