The Lapwing is a pod in Brocklebank, out in the fields. It's just off the northern edge of the Lake District. You get the place to yourself. It's detached.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. A double bed and a bunk bed. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern inside. The shower's good.
The main living space is open plan. Big sofa, kitchen area, TV on the wall. Large French doors open onto the patio. There's a private hot tub out there.
There's parking right by the pod. It has a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. It takes up to three dogs.
The site is quiet. You get views over to the Solway Firth and Scotland. Good for walks straight from the door.
Keswick is about half an hour's drive if you want shops, or to get to Derwentwater. Carlisle is the same sort of distance the other way, for the castle and museum.
The coast is about 17 miles. The nearest proper shop and pub are roughly three and a half miles away in the village.
