Skylark Lodge

Skylark Lodge is a detached lodge on Wallace Lane Farm, near Brocklebank. It's the newest one we've built. There are nice views of the Cumbrian fells from up there.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The main room is open plan. It's got underfloor heating, so it's warm. There's a woodburner too.

Outside, there's an enclosed deck with a private hot tub. You can use it whatever the weather.

The farm is 23 acres and you're welcome to walk around it. It's on the northern edge of the Lake District National Park. The terrain here is a bit more gentle than the central fells.

Caldbeck village is a few minutes' drive. It has a pub, a shop, and a tea room. The local pub and restaurant are about two and a half miles away.

You're about 17 miles from the coast at the Solway Firth. Carlisle is half an hour away for shops or the castle. Hadrian's Wall is within easy reach. The northern Lake District fells, like Skiddaw, are closer and quieter.

For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. There's a charger for electric vehicles. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
