Blaithwaite Cottage
Blaithwaite Cottage is on the edge of the Blaithwaite Estate, over near Waterside. It's a detached place in about 80 acres of grounds. You look out over woods and fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The garden is large and enclosed.
The living room has patio doors that open straight out. It's south facing, so you get the sun. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher, and a utility room for boots and coats. Parking for two cars.
You're allowed up to two dogs. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
The estate grounds are right there to walk around. There's an arboretum and some wetlands. They also have things like laser tag and bushcraft you can book, and a play area.
Location wise, you're sort of between the Lakes and the coast. Keswick is about 18 miles one way, Carlisle is 16 miles the other. The Solway Coast, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is about 10 miles away. Hadrian's Wall is a short drive from Carlisle.
The nearest shop is about a mile and a half. There's a pub two miles away, and a restaurant about five miles.
