Meadow Lodge
Meadow Lodge is near Yearngill in Cumbria. It's a converted sandstone stable at the end of a quiet farm track. You get views over the fields. It's very quiet out here.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The main living area is open plan. The patio is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
The village of West Newton is about a mile and a half away for a shop and a pub. Aspatria is the same distance for more. The west Cumbrian coast is about five miles. Silloth is a nice old seaside town with a good golf course. Maryport and Whitehaven are a short drive south if you want a marina or a museum.
You're well placed for the Lake District. Cockermouth is twelve miles. Keswick is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes by car, going past Bassenthwaite Lake. They've got boat trips on Derwent Water there. The Lake District National Park is right on your doorstep for walking or cycling.
Facilities include a washing machine, a dishwasher, and all the bedding. The utilities are included.
