Aden Barn
Aden Barn is in Allonby, on a little cobbled street down by the sea. It's a terraced barn conversion, so you share a wall with the neighbours. The front is all glass, a big galleried window that makes it feel very light inside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well finished and comfortable, good quality. The solid wood floors are nice.
The beach is just down the lane, maybe a hundred yards. It's a long, sandy beach. You can see Scotland from there on a clear day. It's known for windsurfing, if that's your thing. There's a local chip shop, a pub, and the ice cream shop on the front is famous. They do a huge cone.
For a day out, the Western Lakes are about half an hour's drive. Cockermouth is close, maybe twenty minutes. Maryport has the aquarium and the maritime museum. If you want to go into the main Lake District, Keswick is just over half an hour away.
It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. No pets, sorry.
