Berwyn Bank
Berwyn Bank is near the Solway Coast in Cumbria. It's one of three cottages on the same site, so it can work for big groups if you book more than one. There are fields around.
It sleeps twelve across six bedrooms. There are five bathrooms, which helps with a full house. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped. It's not a show home, but it's comfortable and everything works.
The stairs are fine. The garden is enclosed. There's a hot tub.
There's a pub about half a mile from the cottage. The nearest shop is a couple of miles away. The Solway Coast beach is about four miles. It's a good, long stretch for walking. You can drive to Allonby, Silloth, or Maryport. They have cafes, pubs, and chip shops.
Cockermouth is six miles. It's a market town. Keswick is fourteen miles away. You've got Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake there for boats or walks. Buttermere is about twelve miles.
On site, you can privately hire a heated swimming pool. You need to book that online. There's also private fishing for salmon and trout on the River Ellen, about a mile away.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and an electric vehicle charger. Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot and highchair.
