Oaklands
Oaklands is a bungalow in Langrigg. It's detached, so no neighbours attached. It's next to our farm, which is mixed livestock. It's quiet here.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. That's the main thing about it. It's all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4 Star rating.
There's a wood burner in the living room. The heating is from a biomass boiler, which is efficient and eco-friendly. Outside, there's a hot tub and a sauna in a separate cabin. There's also a BBQ and space to store bikes.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right there.
The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is two miles, in Aspatria.
You're about a 20 minute drive from the north-western part of the Lake District. Cockermouth and Keswick are both that sort of distance. The Solway Coast is about ten miles north, good for golf and beaches. Carlisle isn't far if you need a city. Hadrian's Wall and Scotland are within easy reach for a day out.
