Little Meadow
Little Meadow is a modern barn conversion in Dovenby. It’s on a dairy farm. The fields are all around it. You'll see and hear the cows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both upstairs. One is a king size with its own shower room, the other has twin beds. There's a second bathroom as well, which is handy. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well equipped and comfortable. The stairs are wooden and fairly steep, just to be aware.
Downstairs is open plan: kitchen, dining, living area. The sofa is leather. There are big windows so it's light. You have your own patio out the back with a table and chairs, and a private hot tub. It's quite sheltered out there.
You're a couple of miles from Cockermouth. It's a proper town with supermarkets, pubs and shops. The Jennings Brewery is there if you like a tour. Maryport is about the same distance the other way, on the coast.
You can drive to the Lake District National Park. Keswick is about 20 minutes. It's a good base for walking or just pottering around the town. The coast at the Solway Firth is about a ten minute drive west. The beaches are sandy.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can't take pets.
