Willow Cottage is in Cockermouth. It's the middle one of three terraced houses. They were built in 1844. It's about a two-minute walk into the main part of town.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's been done up inside, so it's modern and clean. There's a wood burner in the living room.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
Cockermouth is a proper market town. There are pubs, a few restaurants, and some good independent shops. The National Trust's Wordsworth House is literally across the road. The castle ruins are by the river, which is a nice spot.
You're right on the edge of the Lake District. Bassenthwaite Lake is about ten minutes drive. Keswick is about twenty minutes away. Whinlatter Forest is good for walking or cycling, and Buttermere is a bit further on.
