Briar Bank Bungalow is on the edge of Cockermouth. It's a bungalow, all on one floor. Semi-detached. There's an enclosed garden at the back.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not a show home. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed. There's a washing machine, a cot, and parking at the front.
Cockermouth is a market town. There are shops, a few pubs doing food, and a museum about Wordsworth who was born here. It's about half a mile walk.
From here you can get into the Lake District easily. Buttermere, Loweswater, and Ennerdale Water are all about twenty minutes drive away. For a big mountain day, Wasdale and Wast Water are maybe thirty minutes.
The other way, you've got the Solway Coast. It's a different sort of coastline, more quiet and flat. Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall are about forty minutes by car.
