Graylings Rest is a lodge-style caravan on Brigham Holiday Park. It's new, from 2021. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One has a king bed with an en-suite bathroom that has a full bath. The other has twin beds. There's a second bathroom with a shower.
It's on an end plot, so it's detached. You've got decking on two sides. One side looks over a fenced-off pond and some woodland. You'll see birds and squirrels. It's quiet.
The park itself is peaceful and well-kept, but it doesn't have any facilities. There's no shop or play area on site. It's just a place to stay. You can park right next to the lodge.
Location-wise, you're on the edge of the Lake District. Cockermouth is about two and a half miles away. That's your nearest proper town for shops, cafes, and restaurants. There's a village about a mile away called Great Broughton with a few pubs.
The coast is about seven miles if you fancy the beach. Keswick is a 25-minute drive into the central Lakes. For walking, you're right near the Northern Fells and the Western coast. The Lake District National Park website is good for planning routes.
Inside, it's all open plan. It's clean and comfortable, with everything you'd need. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
