Tranquil Lodge is on Brigham Holiday Park. It's a detached modern holiday home, built in 2021. It's on a quiet, well-kept park with no shop or play area. It's peaceful.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. The living area is open plan with a kitchen, dining space and a sofa. It has a TV and WiFi. There's decking outside with seating.
The park is on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Cockermouth is about two and a half miles away. It's a proper market town with shops, cafes and a few pubs. Great Broughton is a mile away and has a village shop and five pubs.
You're in a good spot for the northern lakes. Bassenthwaite Lake is close by for walks and wildlife. Loweswater, Crummock Water and Buttermere are a short drive south for some of the best scenery. Keswick is about twenty five minutes by car.
For days out, Whinlatter Forest has mountain biking and the Go Ape treetop course. The Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite is good for families.
Facilities are straightforward. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking right next to the lodge. No pets, sorry. Also, there are no electric car charging points on the park.
