Harbour Watch is a ground floor apartment in Maryport. It's part of a block right on the harbour wall. You get a view of the boats from the living room window.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean without any frills. Everything is on one level, which is handy. There's communal grounds with seating if you want to sit outside.
The town centre is a five minute walk. There are pubs, cafes, and the usual shops. The beach is about the same distance. Across the road is the Wave Centre, which has a climbing wall and a gym.
If you're interested in the Roman history, the Senhouse Roman Museum is close by. For a longer beach, the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty starts a few miles north.
You can get to the Lake District in under half an hour. Bassenthwaite Lake and the distillery are that way, or you can go towards Loweswater. Whitehaven is about a twenty minute drive south if you want a bigger town.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding is provided. No pets.
