Catbank
Catbank is a lodge chalet in Redmain. It's one of a small group of eight. The view out the front is over fields towards Skiddaw. It's quiet.
It's for two people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. Everything you need is there.
You're right on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The main road, the A595, is close by, so it's easy to get to the northern Lakes or up towards Scotland. Cockermouth is about five miles, Keswick is twelve, Carlisle is eighteen.
There's a pub you can walk to, about a mile away. The nearest shop and restaurant are in Cockermouth. The coast at Allonby is about eight miles.
Inside, it's all open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside. There's a bike store if you bring them. You can bring two dogs.
