Rosella

This is Rosella. It's a wooden chalet in Redmain in Cumbria. It's detached, so no shared walls. You're on the edge of the National Park, looking out at the fields towards Skiddaw. It's very quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. It's got everything you'd need.

There's a pub you can walk to, about a mile away. The nearest shop or restaurant is about six miles off in Cockermouth. Cockermouth itself is a good little town, about a five mile drive. Keswick is 12 miles south if you want the busier Lake District feel. Carlisle is 18 miles north. The coast at Allonby is about eight miles.

The place has its own parking. There's a patio and a garden area that's just for you. It's got a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. You can bring up to two dogs.

For planning days out, the Lake District National Park site is useful. So is English Heritage for Carlisle Castle if you head that way.
