Rosella

Rosella is a holiday lodge in Redmain, near Carlisle. It's one of eight on a small site, set back from the A595. You're right on the edge of the Lake District National Park, looking out at fields towards Skiddaw. It's quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's tidy and comfortable, not luxurious. The chalet is detached, so you've got your own space.

There's a pub about a mile away. The nearest shop and restaurant are in Thursby, about six miles. The coast at Allonby is eight miles if you fancy the beach.

You're well placed for getting about. Cockermouth is five miles, Keswick is twelve, and Carlisle is eighteen. It's easy to get into the northern Lakes or over into Scotland.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding is provided. You can park right outside. The garden area is for you. You can bring up to two dogs.
