Herdwick View

Herdwick View is a Victorian house on the edge of the Herdwick Croft caravan park, near Dubwath. It's detached and sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

It's got a five star rating, which means it's well finished. There's a wood burner, a dishwasher, and wifi. All the bedding and towels are included. You can park right there.

The garden is private and quite big. There's a summer house and a hot tub outside.

The location is quiet. It's about ten minutes' walk to the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake. You can see Skiddaw from the house. The Lakes Distillery and the Lake District Wildlife Park are also a short walk away.

Keswick is a few miles one way, Cockermouth a few miles the other. You're well placed for the northern fells if you're walking. The Whinlatter forest trails for mountain biking are close. Armathwaite Hall is nearby if you're going to a wedding or the spa.
