The Beeches is up near Bassenthwaite Lake in Cumbria. It's a big terraced house, sleeps eight across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One's en-suite to the main bedroom, the other has a bath with a view of the lake.
The stairs are normal. The living room has an open fire. There's also a smaller snug room and a sun room that looks onto the garden. The kitchen has what you need. The garden has furniture and a brick BBQ.
There's a utility room by the back door. Useful for boots and bikes. You can park on site. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
It's a 4 Star place. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not ultra-luxury. You can bring two dogs.
The Castle Inn pub is right across the road. They do food. You can buy day passes from them for their leisure club, which has a pool, gym, and tennis court. The local shop is about three-quarters of a mile away.
You can walk to Bassenthwaite Lake in under a mile. Keswick is about seven miles away for bigger shops and the theatre by Derwentwater. Cockermouth is a similar distance. For walks, you're close to Skiddaw, Catbells, and Blencathra. The Lake District Wildlife Park is less than a mile away, and The Lakes Distillery is nearby if you're interested in that.
Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, all that's there.
